ALKALINITY ANALYZER MODEL : ALF - 1600 On line analyzer suitable for measurement of alkalinity levels in the filtration process of water treatment plants. The alkalinity is the index of conversion into Calcium Carbonate. The alkalinity of the process water influences the precipitation rates of the water treatment process. Therefore it is useful to measure the process water both before and after the treatment process. An optional sand filter is available for dirty samples such as effluent before treatment process. It is also useful to measure the water after the filtration process because moderate levels of alkalinity are required to prevent corrosion of the pipe work.
